about

The Orchid Skatepark is a nonprofit skate and community center set on a secluded coastal ranch in Goleta, California. Community built from the ground up with love and heart, the park blends indoor and outdoor skating with farm and coastal stewardship to create a one-of-a-kind place where athletes, children, families, and neighbors come to learn, practice, and belong.

WHY WE EXIST

The Orchid Skatepark is a premier inclusive skateboarding destination on the California coast, where everyone—regardless of ability, background, or experience level—can discover their potential through the transformative power of skateboarding, art, and community.
We believe skateboarding is more than sport. It is a creative practice, a social lifeline, and a tool for self-discovery. The Orchid Skatepark exists to open doors, nurture confidence, and create a thriving, inclusive place where kids grow into leaders and the community grows stronger together.

OUR MISSION

At the Orchid Skatepark, our mission is to empower youth and adults of all abilities through skateboarding. We strive to create an inclusive community hub that promotes personal growth, artistic expression, and social connection along California’s coast.
Through comprehensive skateboarding instruction, adaptive programming, and engaging cultural events, we foster confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging for everyone aged 5 to 60+, with a dedicated focus on supporting children with disabilities, at-risk youth, and underserved communities.
